Saqib Engineering Ltd ("we", "us") is a power engineering consultancy registered in England & Wales, company number 15866031, VAT number GB 491767937. Registered office: Office 17b Bradmarsh Business Park, Bow Bridge Close, Rotherham S60 1BY. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. What we collect and why

• Project enquiries. Name, company, contact details, project information and any documents you attach. Used to respond to and manage your enquiry. Lawful basis: your consent, given via the required tick box on the enquiry form, and steps taken at your request before entering a contract. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing privacy@saqibengineering.com.
• Job applications. Name, contact details, CV and supporting files. Used for recruitment. Lawful basis: your consent, given via the required tick box on the application form, and steps taken at your request prior to a possible employment contract. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing hr@saqibengineering.com.
• Direct correspondence. Anything you send us by email or phone, used to deal with your message. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
• Website statistics. If enabled, we use cookieless, privacy-preserving analytics that do not use cookies or identify individual visitors.

How forms are processed

Enquiry and application forms are handled by this website's own infrastructure, hosted on Cloudflare, and delivered to us by email through Resend Inc., which acts as a processor. Submissions may be processed on servers outside the UK; both providers offer appropriate safeguards for international transfers. We do not use form data for marketing and we do not sell personal data.

Storage, security and retention

Personal data is held on access-controlled systems and shared internally only with the people who need it for the purpose it was collected. Enquiry data is kept for the life of the resulting relationship or up to two years after our last contact, whichever is longer. Application data is kept for six months after a recruitment decision unless you ask us to keep it on file or to delete it sooner. Data needed for legal, accounting or contractual reasons is kept for the statutory period.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability where applicable, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any right, email privacy@saqibengineering.com. We will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, contact us first and we will try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
